It’s time for me to start clearing out my studio (the spare bedroom in my apartment) so I have room to work on new things. I recently put up a bunch of older paintings in my shop. They are $50 a pop, 7″x7″ gouache and ink on paper. Pretty soon I’ll have a bunch of new stuff to show!!!
First Post.
17 MayI’m not sure that I’m capable of blogging…I barely had the attention span to deal with Twitter…but I am going to try this out for a little while and see how it goes.
This image is from one of my more recent commissions. I created two coloring books for a local Chicago band, Tangleweed. They play mostly bluegrass and I had the opportunity to see them live recently. I had never really listened to much bluegrass but Tangleweeds cd’s definitely had me tapping my toes. I would recommend them to anyone. (From top left: Paul, Scott, Ryan, Kip, and Billy).
Working on this project has got me thinking that I really need to create an original coloring book using my art. It’s on my list of things to do in the near future.
